How to fix a computer when the fan runs constantly!!(asus method)
I try to fix the computer by myself.
I was using the computer every day, but the top fan suddenly made a lot of noise, so I changed two top fans 120mm yesterday... There's no noise.. I experienced a phenomenon in which only the fan was turned and did not boot. I tried to fix it with my brain as much as I could. In conclusion, computers are now well-booted, noiseless and well-used.
I'm not a computer expert, so I fixed the computer, so you should try it at least once and summon the repair engineers to fix it. I searched a lot, but it didn't work out. I'll tell you a few ways to fix the computer.
First of all, the board that I use
Asus사의 TUF B450M-PRO GAMING (AMD 소켓 AM4용)I'm using .

1. Modifying RAM (yellow part of top picture)
RAM was previously plugged into RAM slots 1 and 3. Move that part to number 2 and 4. Please make it work... I boot while praying, but as expected, only the cpu fan and the fan attached to the main body are turned.
After removing all the RAM in the RAM slot, erase the lower gold part with an eraser (you have to erase it with both sides) as shown in the picture above, plug it back into the RAM slot and boot it again, plug it into RAM slot 2 and 4, and the fan still works. And I plugged in only one of the two RAMs and tried to boot it, but it still didn't work.
2. Graphics card related modifications (red part of the top picture)
A graphic card is a part that's stuck in the red part of the picture above the gel, and it's a heavy, long part.
The graphics card had nothing else to do. Take it out like RAM, erase the bottom terminal with an eraser, shake it off, and then re-bind it to boot... This is also only for fans.
3. SSD (m.2) related modifications (blue color part of top picture)
ssd
These days, many people use SSDs as the main storage device and HDDs as auxiliary storage devices. So, take out the SSD (M.2) installed in the window, blow the gold terminal part at the bottom, and then bind it again and boot.. My computer is still running only the fans... Sigh..
4. Battery related modification (pink part of the top picture)
2032battery
There were a lot of people around me who asked me what kind of battery I had on my computer. There's a battery called 2032 battery that's circled. The one in the pink part of the picture above is the 2032 battery. If you look closely at the part where the battery is plugged in, it's a structure that can be pulled out by pressing it slightly at the bottom. Press the bottom part slightly to pull it out. And I buy a 2032 battery from Daiso, plug in a new battery, and reboot. As expected, only the fans are going around. When you put the battery back in, you can put the 2032 part so that you can see it.
You have to take off the power before removing the battery.
Turn off the computer. (Forced off, hold down the power button.
In the power section, you will find a (ㅇㅡ) shaped component. Press the part marked with ㅇ, and then remove the power cord.
So far, current? so if you press the power button
The lighted part of the lower right TUF GAMMING will disappear.
And after removing the battery, after 5 to 10 minutes, the new battery is connected!!
5. Modification related to cpu (white part of top photo)
There is a fan on top of the cpu to lower the heat of the cpu. Since the cpu in the 3000 series can pull out the pin at the bottom of the cpu because it's a radish pull out, you can press it slightly and turn it slightly and pull it out upward. After tearing the pan and wiping off all the tissues of the previously applied thermal grease on the cpu, I ripped the cpu and checked if the pin was bent at the bottom, but there was no problem, so I need to re-bind it, but there is a triangle on one side of the mold as shown in the picture below. This part has a triangle shape on the main board and cpu, so we do the same two (main board and cpu) and tie it again. We re-bundled the dismantled parts and booted them up.. Still... Only the fans turned around here...
He was almost giving up here, but... I thought of one thing, so I tried it for the last time, and if it doesn't work, let's call a repair man.
6. cmos modification (top photo, bottom right fluorescent part)
I was thinking about resetting the cmos part all of a sudden. The part where I removed the battery at the top is similar, but I did it just in case. Follow the instructions for removing the batteries above (you need to unplug the power cord.!!)
There will be two sticks standing on the part where CLRTC is written in the fluorescent color.
Put a screwdriver in between those two and hold for 10 seconds.
Then, plug the power cord back in and press the - part to turn on the power. And I pray for 10 seconds and try to boot lol. The fan spins hard and the fan spins slowly. And then the monitor responds.
Eventually, it booted properly. And I saw a window screen.. crying
Tears of emotion... I have to update it again due to bios initialization, but it works well after that bios update.
Anyway, I searched and fixed it up. In the end, I'm glad I saved the computer.
If you have the same symptoms as me, why don't you take a look at my post and try it and call a repair company?
